Accessibility Upgrade for Existing Facilities Requirements
The California Building Code requires 20% accessibility upgrades for certain alterations, structural repairs, or additions to building or facilities used as public buildings, public accommodations, commercial buildings, or public housing. Please refer to the Accessibility Worksheet to determine if your project requires compliance.
