El Dorado Beach Boat Ramp is Closed for the 2020 Boating Season.
Tahoe Only Stickers are available for purchase at the launch site.
The Lakeview Commons at El Dorado Beach boat ramp is located on Highway 50 at Lakeview Avenue. The boat ramp is open seasonally depending on accessibility and the lake’s water level. Fees are listed below and collected on-site. Credit Cards and Debit Cards only. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Maximum Boat Length is 23 feet. The boat length is subject to change due to water levels. The boat ramp passes under Lakeview Avenue and there is a bridge with a maximum 12 foot clearance. For questions about the boat ramp call 530- 542-6034.
Parking
There is limited parking at the launching facility, 38 boat trailer parking spaces with 2 handicapped spaces. These spaces are reserved for boat trailers only. Overnight parking is not permitted.
Boat Inspections
Currently Inspection Stations are open by appointment only. A boat inspection is required before entering Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Resource Conservation District (TRCD) is the managing agency of boat inspections before entering Lake Tahoe. The nearest boat inspection location is in Meyers, CA at 2128 Keetak Street, on the South Shore near the intersection of Highways 89 and 50. Turn on Pomo St. off of HWY 89.
