Children's Day Camp In Reno Ages 6-16 in Response to Caldor Fire/Natural Disasters

 Project:Camp runs pop-up children's day camps in response to natural disasters. They just finished a session in Quincy, CA in response to the Dixie Fire (here a news clip from the caTmp) and are setting up a new camp in Reno, NV to serve evacuees from both the Dixie and Caldor Fires.
 Camps welcome 6 to 16-year olds and provide them with a safe place where they can experience some semblance of normalcy, interact with kids their age, and have fun in the midst of a traumatic event. The camp also gives parents breathing room as they try and pick up the pieces of their lives in the wake of these devastating events. All of our camps are 100 percent free of charge as they are funded by institutional and individual donors.
 In partnership with the Nevada Discovery Museum in Reno, Project:Camp will hold a session of camp Wednesday through Friday Sept. 1-3  (which might be extended through next week depending on resources available).
