Join the City of South Lake Tahoe and the Multicultural Committee as we learn about and celebrate different cultures through art, music, food, and entertainment.
This FREE one-day event will feature cultural displays, kids' activities, food trucks, vendor booths, and more.

Special Guest: Olympian Seba Johnson
Come out to meet the first black woman to ski in the Olympics! Seba was the youngest alpine ski racer in Olympic history and is a native to South Lake Tahoe. Join her in her booth to color custom graphic design pieces created by Seba herself.
Watch our crew of local artists paint out our event slogan, "IN CULTURE WE THRIVE".
Each artist will be painting one or two of the words of the slogan, adding their unique style to their portion of the project.
Donald Rosenhamer will be painting the words, "In" and "Thrive".
Rebecca Davis will be painting the word, "We".
Kara Mosteller will be painting the word, "Culture".
Stop by our local vendor booths to peruse their wares and pick up a gift to take home.

Get ready for a fun day at the park!
Here are some things we want you to know:
The park will be closed to vehicle traffic throughout the day.
The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, the event will be canceled or postponed. Stay up to date by following our Facebook event listing, here.
Bring your reusable water bottle and plan to fill-up at our refill station to help us reduce the use of single-use plastics.
Dancing to the music is encouraged but will be on the grass so please wear appropriate footwear.
There will not be an ATM on-site but most vendors will accept credit cards.
ADA bathrooms are available at the main restroom building located in the park.
Reduce, reuse, recycle! Make sure you're disposing of your trash in the appropriate South Tahoe Refuse & Recycling container.
Attendees are encouraged to leave their cars at home and explore alternative modes of transportation.
- Check out the FREE Lake Link Shuttle. This brand new microtransit system is an app-based, on-demand service that uses 9-12 passenger vans. Download their app and travel to and from the event in style. For routes and more information, visit their website: tahoelakelink.com
- Hop on the bus for FREE. The Tahoe Transportation District is currently offering free rides throughout the South Shore. Routes 50 and 55 stop at the USFS office and the Community College mobility hub. Route 55 also stops on Johnson Blvd. by the Police Department Complex. - Bike don't drive! The Lake Tahoe Bike Coalition is sponsoring a free bike valet at the event. Peddle over and know that your bike will be safe while you're enjoying the festivities.
Carpooling is recommended!
Parking will be located in the Lake Tahoe Community College parking lots at 1 College Dr. South Lake Tahoe. Guests will need to park their car and walk across the street to Bijou Park. Crossing guards will be on duty to ensure safe crossing.
Limited ADA parking spaces are available at Bijou Park. These spaces are located at Bijou Dog Park. To access the parking spaces, please enter the park through the dog park exit. There will be a city staff member posted at the gate to ensure your vehicle has the proper tags. You may not drive into the event area and you must exit the park the same way you entered.
