[ARCHIVED] Spring 2016 Citizens Academy

The City of South Lake Tahoe is now accepting applications for the Spring 2016 Citizens Academy. The Academy will be held on consecutive Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm beginning April 7, 2016 and running through May 19, 2016.

The Citizens Academy is a free, seven session interactive course designed to provide residents with an in-depth look into municipal government, as well as, information about the services and programs of the City of South Lake Tahoe.

This course is open to all community members and provides an exciting opportunity for residents to increase their knowledge about the workings of local government and have a desire to become more involved in the shaping and development of their community.

Applications are being accepted now through March 25, 2016 at 5:00pm. Applications and the course outline are online at www.cityofslt.us/academy. Completed applications may be dropped off or mailed to the City Offices located at 1901 Airport Road, sent via fax @ 530-542-7411 or e-mail to tfranklin@cityofslt.us
