On February 25th, 2016 the South Lake Tahoe Police Department and California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control posted a 20 day liquor license suspension at American Gas located at 2762 Lake Tahoe Blvd. The suspension is a result of an undercover operation conducted November 12th, 2015 in which the business owner, Stefka Dimitrova, was arrested after selling a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine.
The business is prohibited from selling any alcoholic beverage for the next 20 days.
Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) through the department’s Grant Assistance Program. ABC is a Department of the Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency.
