[ARCHIVED] City Releases Request for Proposals for Socio-Economic Impacts of Vacation Home Rentals

The City of South Lake Tahoe is seeking to contract with a Consultant, University or a partnership between the two to prepare a non-partisan study investigating the Socio-Economic Impacts of Vacation Home Rentals (VHR) within the City limits. The comprehensive report shall assess how VHR’s impact the City, economy, community, housing market and day-to-day quality of life for residents.

All Proposers must register and complete a “Vendor Information Sheet” to be entered in the City of South Lake Tahoe Vendor Database, which is required to submit a proposal.
If you have already registered with the City in the past, you do not need to register again. To register, go online to and follow the instructions applicable to Proposer. If already registered, go online to and click on bid opportunities and then the Socio-Economic Impacts of Vacation Home Rentals to view the documents and attachments.

Proposals are due on or before May 6, 2016 no later than 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) at City offices (1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150). Proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted. Proposals and required copies must be submitted by U.S. mail or personal delivery to City offices. Fax and Electronic-mailed (e-mail) submissions will not be accepted.
