Are you interested in being a Lifeguard? The City of South Lake Tahoe is currently hiring for Lifeguard positions. All Lifeguards are required to have: ARC Lifeguard/1st Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and ability to obtain Title 22-First Aid for Public Safety Personnel within the first year of employment. Must pass basic swim test and in-water rescue drills.
If you are interested in becoming a Lifeguard but do not have the certification, call us at the Recreation Swim Complex (530) 542-6056 and let us know of your interest in becoming a Lifeguard and letting us know you need the certification. If there is a strong enough interest list, we may hold a Lifeguard Certification Class.
