Each member of the Commission shall serve a term of four (4) years with no term limits. The appointment of the initial Commission members shall result in three (3) being appointed to a four (4) year term and the balance of the Commission members being appointed for a two (2) year term in order to stagger the membership terms.

Appointment of Members: The City Council shall appoint all members of the Commission. In the event any vacancies occur during the term of the commission, such vacancies shall be filled for the remaining unexpired terms in the same manner as the original appointments.

Qualification of Appointment: Any resident of the City of South Lake Tahoe that is eligible to vote under the laws of the State of California may be appointed to the Commission.

Powers and Duties: Annually the Commission shall vote on and forward to the City Council for approval the expenditure plan for the road construction, maintenance and repair for which Measure C funds shall be expended.
