[ARCHIVED] City Hires Principal Human Resources Analyst

The City of South Lake Tahoe welcomes Thomas Stuart as the Principal Human Resources Analyst. Prior to joining the City, Stuart was a Director of Human Resources for Alvarado Group Services, a construction company with over 200 employees located in the Central Valley of California. 

 “We value all of our employees in the City with each and every one of them making great contributions to the community. With the addition of Tom as our Human Resources Analyst, we can ensure that our employees are being treated impeccably,” said Acting City Manager Jeff Meston.

Stuart brings 25 years’ experience in Human Resources supporting upward of 400 employees.  His experience includes being a Director of Human Resources at a large construction company, Director of Human Resources for a food manufacturer and Vice President of Human Resources for a national foodservice distribution company. 

Stuart initially moved to South Lake Tahoe in 2009 and worked remotely to the Fresno Area. As an active outdoor enthusiast, Stuart is a competitive tri-athlete. “Being part of the Tahoe community is all about engagement and working towards the same goal,” said Stuart.
