[ARCHIVED] South Lake Tahoe Fire and Police Associations Donate Bikes to Youth in Need

The South Lake Tahoe Fire Association (SLTFA) and South Lake Tahoe Police Officers Association (SLTPOA) are joining forces and will be giving away bicycles to 25 pre-selected local youth on Saturday, May 19th at the Bijou Bike Park located at 1201 Al Tahoe Blvd. from 11am-3pm. This is the first annual “Bikes for Kids” program that the fire and police agencies are hosting in partnership along with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) who is donating bike helmets and the youth advocate for Lake Tahoe Unified School District.

The South Lake Tahoe Fire Association will be serving hot dogs, chips and drinks at no cost to all attendees.
