South Lake Tahoe, CA- The application process for adult-use cannabis businesses is now complete and the blind screening process will soon begin.
The ordinance passed by council will allow the city to issue two retail, two microbusiness, two cultivators and four manufacturer permits. The process closed on Friday, April 5th and the City received 21 applications, including eighteen were for retail applications, two microbusinesses applications and one cultivator application.
The Evaluation Committee is scheduled to meet on April 30 and receive scoring instructions, answer any questions, and receive the applications to be scored. We hope to have the process complete by late May. The selection process is a blind process, and applicant and business names are being withheld until the selection process is complete.
