[ARCHIVED] Time is running out to be a part of the 4th of July Parade


South Lake Tahoe, CA- The 4th of July Parade in South Lake Tahoe is back this year and bigger than ever! We want you to be a part of it.

“We are so excited to be bringing the 4th of July Parade back to the City of South Lake Tahoe,” said Chris Fiore, Communications Manager for the City, “Year after year this event has brought thousands of people together to celebrate our independence, our veterans, and the wonderful people and organizations that make our City great.

Applications are now being accepted to be a part of the parade! Individuals, businesses, sports groups, philanthropy groups, schools, etc. are all invited to participate, and FLOAT entries are highly encouraged, and there is no entry fee. An application is required to participate which assists in the planning and execution of the parade.

Applications are available online at, and parade applications are due by June 14, 2019. Completed applications will be sent to

“We want this to be the biggest and best year yet, and we can’t do that without you,” said Fiore, “so get your application in, get your float making materials out, and let's celebrate the 4th of July, South Lake Tahoe style!”
