“This event just keeps getting better and better and that is thanks in large part to the community support,” said Recreation Superintendent Lauren Thomaselli, “This years Turkey Trot was one of the best we’ve had and all raised money and donations for some very worthy causes.”

This year’s Turkey Trot participants also brought in donations for Christmas Cheer, an organization who distributes non-perishable food and toys to families in need.

"Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless really enjoys the partnership with the City of South Lake Tahoe in putting on this event," says Marissa Muscat, Executive Director. "We are so grateful for the energy and fun that the community bring to the run, and the support that it provides to our winter operations.".
