[ARCHIVED] Hit and run suspect arrested after hitting woman on a Lime Scooter


South Lake Tahoe, CA- Officers responded to a call near the intersection of Johnson Blvd. and Fairway, of a woman, riding a Lime scooter, who was struck by a vehicle there.

Witnesses told officers the vehicle took off before they arrived. Police started searching for the vehicle responsible for this incident and got help from people who saw it happen. 

Officers found the suspect leaving his vehicle and walking into his home on Hebert Ave. Police had to force their way into his home and he was subsequently arrested. Colin Hauge of South Lake Tahoe was arrested for felony hit and run. He is 63 years old. 

The victim is recovering and SLTPD would like to thank the community members who help our officers with finding the suspect and providing aid to the victim.
