[ARCHIVED] City road projects could impact travel starting tomorrow

South Lake Tahoe, CA- As a part of the 2020 Road Rehabilitation Program, the City will be reconstructing 3rd & 4th Streets from Lake Tahoe Boulevard to South Avenue. The City will begin construction on 9/29 and will complete work by 10/9. 

During this time, traffic will be constricted to one way travel going southbound toward the hospital. Northbound traffic will be detoured down South Avenue to Emerald Bay Road. Access to the hospital will be maintained at all times throughout this project. Motorists are advised to avoid this area if possible. Detour

Also, construction for the Bellamy Court Parking Expansion Project has begun. Traffic will be constrained to one way travel along Bellamy Court heading Southbound. The parking garage on Bellamy Court and Heavenly Village can be accessed via the detour route located on Transit Way. Construction is expected to be completed by 10/9.
