[ARCHIVED] Multiple people stabbed, suspect in custody

South Lake Tahoe, CA- Earlier this week SLTPD responded to a call about a stabbing in progress.

Monday, officers responded to a 911 call on Herbert Ave and located two victims with stab wounds and immediately began first aid. 

Both people were transported to the hospital and have now been released. One of the patients, 62-year-old Colin Hague, from South Lake Tahoe, is in custody. He’s charged with assault with a deadly weapon, preventing and/or dissuading a witness and domestic violence. 

The investigation is ongoing, and no more information is available at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation and to provide privacy to the victims involved.
