South Lake Tahoe, CA- Please share your ideas to shape the future of 56 Acres in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. There are many ways you can participate including taking the self-guided tour onsite, the online survey, and you can join us for a public online meeting.
Online Public Meeting:
What: Public meeting to discuss the future of the 56 Acres Master Plan project and the South Lake Tahoe Recreation and Aquatic Center (the first phase of the 56 Acres Master Plan). We will present site concepts for the 56 Acres Master Plan and share information from the previous public input session and solicit feedback from the public about the site concepts for the entire 56 Acres Master Plan. In addition, we will be talking about the needs and wants of the recreation center program to guide the design process. Although the video/audio functions will be turned off for attendees, the public will be able to participate via the chat box, questions and answers and interactive polling.

This project is a collaboration between the City of South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, and the California Tahoe Conservancy to create a signature recreation and civic space in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. The first phase of the project was Lakeview Commons, and a subsequent phase is the new Multigenerational Recreation & Aquatics Center under design now.
