[ARCHIVED] REMINDER: Applications being accepted for the City's small business loan program

South Lake Tahoe, CA- Applications are now being accepted for the City's Small Business Sustainability loan program. The program is aimed at helping small businesses in our community get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Council approved $700 thousand to go directly to small businesses through the program. The program will give out up to $15 thousand per business, depending on the organization's size and available funds.

Applications must be submitted by January 15th to be considered during the first review. Organizations must comply with all state and local requirements or face immediate repayment of the loan. The 1st Review of completed applications will consider those applications received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021. If funds are remaining after the 1st review, the 2nd review period will consider those applications received after the 1st Review window closes but no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021. This process will continue weekly until all funds are awarded or until it is determined by City Council that the program is no longer necessary.
