[ARCHIVED] Police looking for suspect in bank robbery at the “Y”

South Lake Tahoe, CA – On 4/1/21, at about 2:30pm, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department responded to a robbery at Wells Fargo Bank at the “Y” (1032 Emerald Bay Road).   A suspect approached the teller and said he had a gun.  He is described as a Caucasian male, about 5’ 11”, with short brown hair. He was wearing a dark colored zip-up hooded jacket or sweatshirt, a two-toned trucker hat and a dark green gaiter mask.  

The suspect fled from the scene on a BMX style bike, southeast through the Raley’s parking lot.   Photographs of the suspect are shown below.  If anyone has information regarding this incident, please contact the South Lake Tahoe Police Department at (530) 542-6100 and reference case 2103-0047.
