[ARCHIVED] Resident 16 years and older can only receive the Pfizer vaccine

vaccine age requirements

As of April 15th, residents 16 and older are eligible to schedule an appointment for the Pfizer vaccinations only. Moderna and Jannsen (J&J) vaccines require you to be 18 and older. If you try to schedule an appointment and they are administering a different vaccine other than Pfizer, you will be listed as ineligible.

Appointments can now be scheduled through https://myturn.ca.gov/ or https://vaccinefinder.org/. With vaccinefinder.org you can select the type of vaccine in the search menu.

Please note: the J&J vaccine is still suspended.
