South Lake Tahoe, CA- Summer is here and so are road construction projects! To keep you informed, the Public Works Department developed an interactive Citywide Construction Projects map to view what’s happening around town throughout the summer months. Currently, the City of South Lake Tahoe is working on a Road Rehabilitation Project on Pioneer Trail from the City/County line (between Black Bart Avenue and Al Tahoe Boulevard) to Blackwood Road, along Lake Tahoe Boulevard between the “Y” and D Street, and on Spruce Avenue between Glenwood Way and Blackwood Road. This interactive map also includes construction projects involving South Tahoe Public Utility District, Southwest Gas, and Lukins Water Company. If you plan on taking any of these roadways over the summer, expect delays or choose an alternate route to your destination to avoid the area. This map is updated regularly so be sure to check back for any changes or additions.
