Dark Sky Survey
There are 4 light posts along US 50 between Trout Creek and Alameda Avenue that have been switched to 2 different color temperatures of Dark Sky light bulbs.
Please visit these sites in person and vote on which ones you prefer. You will find both colors at each site. There are QR Codes posted to the light poles and you can vote directly from your phone.
If you are unable to vote via phone, email your choice of Light A or Light B to publicrelations@cityofslt.us.
Site A: Between Los Angeles & Trout Creek Ave
Site B: Across from Alameda Ave
Why are we doing this?
Changing the street lights along US50 will reduce the impact of light pollution while keeping our streets safe for everyone.
