SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA, December 5, 2022 – South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue’s Christmas fire engine will once again be cruising through the city streets spreading joy to all. Enjoy viewing the fire engine with its decorative lights nearby or from afar while it plays holiday tunes. If you are close by the engine, be sure to grab a candy cane from one of the firefighters. This annual holiday tradition is something you don’t want to miss!
The fire engine will be out nightly starting at 5pm from Saturday, Dec. 10-Saturday, Dec. 24. While we make every effort to make sure the fire engine runs on schedule, weather or emergency situations may alter the schedule. To know when the Christmas Fire Engine is about to hit your street, track here: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/f358a31a638d42d78cf6c3f640276308. This live tracker will show where the lighted holiday fire truck is currently and where it has been. Holiday lights designate each area the fire engine is scheduled to be. The red dots show where it has been in the last minute and the grey dots show where it has been that day. Due to limited cell coverage, the location of the fire engine may be delayed. Check the time of the last reported position in the bottom left corner to make sure you see the most updated location.
