Mayor Creegan and Mayor Pro Tem Bass Selected by City Council
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA, December 13, 2022 – The South Lake Tahoe City Council appoints a Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem annually following the November general election. Mayor Devin Middlebrook briefly presided over his last City Council meeting as incumbent Council Members Cody Bass and Tamara Wallace and newly elected Council Member Scott Robbins were formally sworn into office. City Clerk Susan Blankenship was also sworn into office for a second term. The next order of business was the selection of Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem officer positions. In a 4-1 vote, former Mayor Pro Tem Cristi Creegan became Mayor and Council Member Cody Bass became Mayor Pro Tem. Mayor Creegan was first elected in November 2020 and Mayor Pro tem Bass was first elected in 2018 to four-year terms. Their officer terms will last one year.
