[ARCHIVED] South Lake Tahoe’s Inaugural 4th of July Parade and Celebration 2012!

A parade honoring families of local fallen heroes, veterans, and active duty military will be held on Wednesday, July 4th. The parade will run from 10am to noon followed by a celebration from noon to 3pm. The parade will begin at Stateline and travel along Hwy 50 to Rufus Allen Blvd. Viewing of floats, food, vendors and live music by the Cash Only band will be held at the Recreation Center, Senior Center and Museum parking lots. This is a Golden Bear Event and is being co-sponsored by K-Tahoe 590 AM / 96.1 FM, South Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, and the City of South Lake Tahoe.
