The City of South Lake Tahoe has awarded the new restroom project to Melnikov Construction of Carmichael California. The restrooms will be constructed at the El Dorado Beach Boat Ramp Parking lot.
As such, there will be impacts to the parking and access for the boat ramp and the Lakeview Commons site. The Boat ramp will be open for launches, as the construction will only take a portion of the access. The parking lot however, will have portions of the parking area fenced off to protect the general public from construction activities.
Work is scheduled to begin the week of August 6, 2012.
