[ARCHIVED] Roadway Construction Update for June 16-22, 2013

U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) in South Lake Tahoe: Work continues on completing a $43 million project from the Trout Creek Bridge to Ski Run Boulevard. Landscaping, striping and electrical work is scheduled for spring and summer 2013. Completion is expected in late summer or early fall.

U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Trout Creek to Ski Run Boulevard: Eastbound and westbound motorists can expect alternating #2 lane and shoulder closures from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do lane striping.
U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) in South Lake Tahoe: Work has started on a $7.3 project from just west of Ski Run Boulevard to Wildwood Avenue adding curbs, gutters and new drainage systems and resurfacing the highway. Completion is expected by 2014.

U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado County) from Fairway Avenue to Wildwood Avenue: Eastbound and westbound motorists can expect alternating lane and shoulder closures from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from midnight to noon on Friday. A contractor is scheduled to do drainage work.

SPECIAL EVENT ON JUNE 8th
State Routes 89, 28 and U.S. Highway 50 (El Dorado/Placer County): Motorists should be aware of runners on the roadway from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 8 for the DeCelle Memorial Lake Tahoe Relay Race.
