The City of South Lake Tahoe is currently recruiting for the position of Planning Manager.
Under administrative direction of the Director of Development Services, the Planning Manager, conducts, assigns, coordinates and supervises the work and operations of the Planning Division and performs the most complex technical planning work. Work includes oversight and coordination of short- and long-range planning functions, strategic planning, environmental impact analysis as well as policy and program development and implementation. The Planning Manager regularly serves in a technical staff capacity to commissions and committees. The Planning Manager also coordinates activities with other City divisions, departments, and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director of Development Services.
