[ARCHIVED] City of South Lake Tahoe Seeks Community Input on the "Y" www.cityofslt.us/TahoeValley

The City of South Lake Tahoe is hosting a public workshop on the Tahoe Valley Area Plan on Thursday, February 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 1901 Airport Road in South Lake Tahoe.

The Tahoe Valley Area Plan will provide planning and land use guidance for the area known as the South “Y” plan area and we want your input on what the future of this area should be.

Come learn what is new and exciting in the Tahoe Valley area. Help us shape this important commercial node, and let us know what should be considered in this plan.

Workshop elements include:
Review the vision
Review the vision map: land use, transportation, recreation, conservation and more
Review planning concepts that can transform our community into a walkable and bikeable environment
Breakout sessions: Tell us what you think. What else should City Planners consider?

For more information contact Project Planning Manager John Hitchcock via email at jhitchcock@cityofslt.us or phone (530) 542-7472.
