You are invited to help provide policy recommendations to state and federal elected officials attending the Environmental Summit on August 16th. Come to one of two workshops Aug 3 (South Lake) and Aug 4 (North Lake) and provide your input !
In preparation for the 15th Annual Environmental Summit to be held on August 16th, 2011 (9 to 11:30 a.m. at Homewood Mountain Resort), many public and business organizations joined together to host opportunities for the public to weigh in on the issues facing Lake Tahoe Region in these challenging times. California Governor Brown and Nevada Governor Sandoval are expected to attend, along with Senator Diane Feinstein, Senator Harry Reid and Representative Dean Heller as well as other officials. The public is invited to this free event.
These roundtable discussions August 3rd and August 4th ahead of the Summit provide an opportunity for the public to give their input as to policy recommendations for the Federal, State and Local levels of government who will be at the Summit.
