The City received a grant from the State's Department of Housing and Community Development, which funds the City's Business Coaching Program, which is being managed and operated by Tahoe Chamber.org. The Chamber, as part of the Business Coaching Program, teamed up with Sierra Economic Development Corporation to bring the Business Boot Camp to local businesses.
