Join the City of South Lake Tahoe for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Harrison Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project on Thursday, November 13th at 12pm. The ceremony will be held next to the parking lot adjacent to the Tribune building at 3079 Harrison Avenue and plenty of parking is available.
Nearly twenty years after the project was identified in the Bijou/Al Tahoe Community Plan (1995), the Harrison Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project began in May of this year. The completion of this project has addressed several City-wide strategic infrastructure replacement and environmental compliance objectives.
The Harrison Avenue improvements represent another project being completed this fall made possible through a public-private partnership between property owners and the City.
Thank you to all who participated in making this project possible.
