The City of South Lake Tahoe adopts an Annual Budget by September 30th for its fiscal year which begins October 1st.

The City’s budget can also be viewed on the OpenGov platform at www.cityofslt.us/opengov. This web-based software provides instant access to the budget and visualizes current and historic revenue and expenses.
City Manager Nancy Kerry initiated the partnership to make the government administration’s finances easily accessible and understandable. “When residents and members of our government have this information easily available to them, it improves the dialogue between the government and citizens,” said Kerry. “Our OpenGov site enables communication, trust, and engagement within the community.”
