[ARCHIVED] Application Deadline Extended for Spring 2015 Citizens Academy

The City of South Lake Tahoe is now accepting applications for the Spring 2015 Citizens Academy. The Academy will be held on consecutive Wednesdays from 5:30-8pm beginning May 6, 2015 and running through June 17th, 2015.

The Citizens Academy is a free, seven session interactive course designed to provide residents with an in-depth look into municipal government, as well as, information about the services and programs of the City of South Lake Tahoe.

This course is open to all community members and provides an exciting opportunity for residents to increase their knowledge about the workings of local government and have a desire to become more involved in the shaping and development of their community.

The application deadline has been extended to Wednesday, April 29th at 5:00pm. Applications and the course outline are online at http://www.cityofslt.us/academy. Completed applications may be dropped off or mailed to the City Offices located at 1901 Airport Road, sent via fax @ 530-542-7411 or e-mail to tfranklin@cityofslt.us
