Code Compliance Investigator
The Code Compliance Investigator is a position assigned a full range of clerical and accounting duties with assistance and direction from the Administrative Sergeant responsible for the Vacation Home Rental Program; who works independently and exercises sound judgment in the application of policies, procedures and accounting principles related to the payment of permit fees, Transient Occupancy Tax and penalties associated with the Vacation Home Rental Program. Incumbent is expected to become increasingly knowledgeable of city laws, ordinances, procedures and practices pertaining to the maintenance and accuracy of Vacation Home Rental financial data.
Street Maintenance Worker
This is the entry-level maintenance class in the Street Maintenance Worker series performing routine and less complex manual, semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance of streets and other public services areas. Positions at this level are not expected to function with the same amount of program knowledge or skill level as positions allocated to the Heavy Equipment Operator level and exercise less independent discretion and judgment in matters related to work procedures and methods.
